THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR’S WAY WITH COVID-19

Humanity is navigating her way through interesting times. Waking up in fear and panic over the losses of power, wealth and health, so much of our world’s view has been consumed with eradicating the SARS-CoV-2 virus from our lives. However, it is an illusion to think that we can eliminate this, or any other virus.
Viruses are an essential contribution to the circle of Life. The history of the conscious, intelligent presence of viruses and their many mutations goes very far back into pre-historic times. In fact, paleo-virologists are of the opinion that it took the mutations and marriage of two difference viruses to create the first forms of complex living beings such as plants and prehistoric animals. It is highly probably that this occurred so that viruses would have an environment within which to re-populate for survival’s sake. Their original intention was co-existence and like any other living being finding its way, certain viruses began to over-express their intentions and behaviors to become parasitic within their hosts.
Life perpetually finds ways to restore balance and harmony to sustain all living beings. Throughout the longstanding history of viruses and hosts living together, hosts have continually risen to the challenge of strengthening their immune responses to restore peaceful co-existence with viruses. We are at this threshold with SARS-CoV-2 and the effects of its infection capabilities have brought reason for humanity to re-evaluate her behaviors and motivations regarding the sustainability and quality of life for both ourselves and the natural environment.
Our review of history offers us the assurance and comfort that we will reach a time in the near future when SARS-CoV-2 will no longer pose a threat to productive living. Researchers in the fields of virology and epidemiology who have tested this virus have found it to be quite fragile in structure. They are finding that through its gradual and slight mutations in every 20-30 days, SARS-CoV-2 is converting itself into milder strains. Throughout its time of finding its harmonious place on the earth, it is humanity’s natural duty to grow a harmonious immune response to it. Lessons from accounts of the Spanish flu of 1918-1919 tell us we can anticipate that it will take until January or into the spring 2021 season before the harmful impact of SARS-CoV-2 S-strain is largely eliminated. We should remain diligent in guarding our health during this entire length of time.
For global healing with this virus to occur effectively, there is a shift in paradigm regarding our relationship with SARS-CoV-2 that must occur. The objective of treatments to remedy its negative health effects – both immediate and long term – must come from and maintain our intention to support Life, restoring harmony and proper relationship among humanity, her natural environment and SARS-Cov-2 to accomplish peaceful and respectful co-existence so that all lives can thrive without causing harm to one another.
